Outline of Research at the Start	有袋類であるオポッサムは、従来のモデル動物には見られない形態形成機構や環境適応のメカニズムを有する。特に、機能的な胎盤を有さないオポッサムが未熟仔を出産する独特の発生様式は不明な点が多い。本研究計画ではオポッサムにおける各種発生イベントに関連する遺伝子の可視化を目的とする遺伝子ノックイン技術の開発、更には系統保存およびリソース化を目指した凍結保存技術に加え、個体化技術の確立を目的とする。
