Outline of Research at the Start	コンディショナルノックアウトマウスに代表されるように、Cre/loxPやFlp/FRTタイプの部位特異的組み換えシステムは極めて有用なゲノムエンジニアリングのツールである。我々は近年、緻密なゲノム改変を可能とするためにCre/loxPと認識サイトが異なり、同一細胞内で使用することができる部位特異的組み換え酵素システム（VCre/VloxPとSCre/SloxP）を開発してきた。本研究では、複雑でより緻密なゲノム改変の実現を可能にさせるために、新たに２種類の新規部位特異的組み換え酵素システムを同定・開発し、それらを用いた新規ゲノムエンジニアリング技術の開発を行う。
