Outline of Research at the Start	脳幹の舌下神経前位核（PHN）は水平性の注視に関与しており、研究代表者らのこれまでの研究にから、注視に関与するPHNの興奮性ネットワークの持続的な活性化がCa2+透過型AMPA受容体（CP-AMPA）を起点として生じることが明らかになった。本研究は、CP-AMPA受容体を構成するGluA1サブユニットを光によって不活性化する分子操作技術（CALI法）を用いてCP-AMPAの機能を阻害したときに、CP-AMPAによる電流応答に変化がみられるのかをin vitroスライス標本にて検証し、in vivoにおいて注視障害が生じるのかを調べることで、CP-AMAPに基づく注視のメカニズムを明らかにする。
