Outline of Research at the Start	NASHは、肝臓への脂肪沈着を契機に、線維化を伴って発症する進行性の代謝性疾患であり、その一部は肝硬変及び肝がんへと進展する。しかしながら、その詳細なメカニズムについては十分に理解されていない。これまでに申請者は、受容体型転写因子であるAhRによるエネルギー代謝制御を明らかにしてきた。その一連の研究の中でAhRがNASH発症の責任遺伝子の１つであることを見出した。そこで、本研究では肝細胞のAhRを欠損させたマウスを用いてNASH発症メカニズムを明らかにする。さらにAhRを分子標的としたNASHの治療法を検証する。
