Outline of Research at the Start	トリプルネガティブ乳がんは他のタイプの乳がんと比較して最も高い再発率と再発後の急速な進行を示し予後が不良である。主な治療は抗がん剤を用いた化学療法であるが、多くの場合は化学療法への抵抗性を獲得してしまう。そのため、抗がん剤に対する耐性獲得機序の解明や病態形成機序の解明とそれに基づいた新規治療法の開発が望まれている。TNBCの病態形成過程に関わる因子については未だ不明な点が多く、その解明には新しい視点からの研究が必要である。本研究課題では、プロスタグランジンE合成酵素に着目し、トリプルネガティブ乳がんの病態形成機構の詳細を明らかにしたいと考えている。
