Outline of Research at the Start	キョウチクトウ科コプシア属植物は、独特で複雑な構造多様性に富むモノテルペノイドインドールアルカロイド類 (コプシアアルカロイド)を含有する。本研究では、コプシア属植物からの新規アルカロイドの探索、特異な化学構造を有する新規微量アルカロイド等の全合成を行う。さらに取得した天然物や合成化合物の生物活性評価等を行い、コプシアアルカロイド由来の新規医薬品開発のための創薬シード分子の取得を目指す。
