Outline of Research at the Start	ジンチョウゲ科植物には抗がん、抗HIV、鎮痛作用など多彩な生物活性を示すジテルペノイドが特徴的に含まれている。ジンチョウゲ科アオガンピ属は70種以上の植物を含むが、化学成分研究は限られた種についてしか行われていない。そのため、さらなる成分探索により新規生物活性ジテルペノイドの発見が期待できる未開拓天然資源である。本研究ではHIV感染症根治薬創製の優れたリード化合物の創出を目指して、未開拓植物資源であるアオガンピ属植物の探索により、優れた有効性と安全性に加えて安定供給可能な抗HIV活性ジテルペノイドを見出すことを目的とした。
