Outline of Research at the Start

現在においても依然として天然物化合物を由来とした医薬品は全体の 約50％を占めており、天然物化学研究、特に天然物からの生物活性成分の探索研究は創薬科学研究において極めて重要である。本研究課題ではこれまで成分探索を行った成果を基にマダガスカル固有種植物および沖縄県産植物を天然資源として抗ウイルス活性化合物の探索を試みる。
