Outline of Research at the Start	細菌・ウイルス感染症やリウマチ等の炎症性疾患では、炎症性サイトカインが、薬物代謝酵素やトランスポーターの発現を抑制し、薬物体内動態を変動させる。本研究では炎症モデル動物を用いて、各種薬物代謝酵素やトランスポーターに特異的な基質薬物の薬物体内動態の変化、および血清中サイトカイン濃度、肝臓、腎臓における薬物代謝酵素やトランスポーターのmRNA、タンパク発現量の変化を経時的に観察し、薬物体内動態の変動要因と機序の解明を試みる。また、炎症に伴う薬物体内動態、および薬物代謝酵素やトランスポーター発現の変動に対する抗リウマチ薬の抑制効果を検討し、炎症性疾患時における有効・安全な薬物療法の確立を目指す。
