Outline of Research at the Start

がん化学療法の副作用として生じる口腔粘膜炎に対する治療薬は、本邦においては存在せず、予防または疼痛緩和のための院内製剤（病院内で薬剤師が調製する未承認薬）が種々用いられているものの、医薬品開発に至った製剤はない。
申請者はこれまで、口腔粘膜炎に対し、インドメタシン（IM）を含有する口腔粘膜適応製剤を4種考案し、健常被験者を対象としたPhaseⅠ試験、患者を対象とした臨床試験によりその有用性を明らかにしている。本研究では、これらの製剤に関し、１）口腔内滞留性の改善、２）食感の改善を行い、患者への適応と有効性・安全性の評価を行う。
