Outline of Research at the Start

がん化学療法の進歩により治療成績は向上したが、従来の抗がん剤とは異なった有害事象が問題となっている。特に、がん治療によって引き起こされるがん治療関連疾患は、がん患者の生命予後や生活の質に影響するため、その改善策が強く望まれている。本研究では、がん治療関連疾患のうち脳血管障害の発症機序を解明することを目的としている。脳血管の機能障害は、様々な中枢性副作用発現と関係すると考えられるため、本研究は適切ながん治療および副作用回避対策の構築に寄与できると考えられる。
