Outline of Research at the Start	抗がん薬を用いたがん化学療法において味覚障害は発現率の高い副作用の一つであり、患者のQOLを著しく低下させ、「がんとの共生」において大きな障害となる。しかし未だに有効な予防法、治療法はなく、さらなる発症メカニズムの解明と治療ターゲットの探索が求められている。そこで本研究では、味覚障害を惹起する抗がん薬誘発味覚神経変性に着目し、その味覚神経変性が惹起されるメカニズムを明らかにすることにより、抗がん薬誘発味覚障害の新たな予防法・治療法の開発につなげる。
