Outline of Research at the Start

本計画では、申請者が見出したオリゴペプチドトランスポーター(EOPTs)の分子活性制御機構を解明・応用することで、ペプチド医薬品を中心とした医薬品の消化管吸収改善戦略を構築することを目指す。本計画が遂行されれば、EOPTsの分子制御機構の解明という生理学的に意義があるだけなく、ペプチド医薬品を含む様々な中分子、抗がん剤、および低分子医薬品の吸収改善やドラッグデリバリー戦略にも応用可能な創造性が高い成果が得られる可能性がある。
