Outline of Research at the Start	腎障害患者が脳疾患を発症することが多く見られるが、詳しいメカニズムは不明である。そこで、臓器間相互作用において重要な役割を担っているエクソソームが腎と脳のコミュニケーションにも重要であると考えた。腎障害時に腎細胞から分泌されるエクソソームが血液脳関門での遺伝子やタンパク質の発現に影響を及ぼすと仮説を立て、この仮説を明らかにすることで、脳疾患発症の原因解明へつながることが期待される。
