Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、① 心臓ペースメーカ組織に特有のエネルギー代謝様式；② 心拍生成機能の基盤となるエネルギー代謝基質およびその寄与率；③ 徐脈モデルのペースメーカ組織における代謝変化と治療標的分子の解明を目的として、心臓ペースメーカ組織を動物個体から遺伝子レベルまで多角的に解析する計画を立案した。研究成果は心拍低下をまねく代謝リモデリングを標的とした全く新しい安全・安価な徐脈治療法の提言につながる可能性を有する。
