Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、L型カルシウムチャネル(Cav1.3)のイオン選択特性ならびにその背景となる透過機構を実験と理論で検証していく。まずは、異種性発現システムとパッチクランプ法を用いて電流解析を行う。ここで得られた電気生理学データを基にイオン透過モデルのパラメーターを決定し、Cav1.3のイオン透過の仕組みを明らかにしていく。これらの試みを通して、心臓のペースメーカー活動におけるCav1.3の役割を考察する。
