Outline of Research at the Start	全ゲノム重複(WGD: Whole Genome Doubling)とは、遺伝子全体の重複、倍化を指し、全がんのおよそ30%と高率に生じていることや、WGDを生じたがんは予後不良であることが示されつつある。しかし、WGDが肺腺癌をはじめ、個別のがん種の発生進展過程で果たす具体的役割の多くは不明である。そこで、WGDが肺腺癌の発生進展で果たす具体的役割を早期癌の段階から解明するのが本研究である。
