Outline of Research at the Start

軟骨細胞は異化・同化作用により軟骨組織の恒常性を維持する。関節軟骨の損傷が特徴的な変形性関節症は根治療法が確立しておらず、軟骨代謝機構の更なる理解が必要とされる。本研究では軟骨細胞増殖活性を持つCTRP分子及びその受容体候補の生理機能を詳細に解明すると共に、これらを標的とした軟骨再生療法の開発を目指す。
