Outline of Research at the Start	我々は、独自に開発した手法により前立腺癌における高メチル化遺伝子の探索をおこない、癌特異的に高率にメチル化され、転写抑制される遺伝子として扁平上皮癌の癌抑制遺伝子ZNF750を同定した。 ZNF750下流遺伝子の探索により癌の浸潤、転移に関与するTWIST1がZNF750の発現と逆相関することを見出した。本研究では、ZNF750―TWIST1経路の詳細を解析することによって限局性前立腺癌が転移するメカニズムを明らかにすることを目的とする。
