Outline of Research at the Start

治療抵抗状態になったがんは難治であり、より早期に転移の可能性を診断する手法や根治治療法の開発が望まれている。これまで我々は先行研究により、臨床の癌の多様性を再構築し、進行した癌に焦点を当て、悪性度を増す原因としての癌幹細胞の特徴を捉えることに注力してきた。本研究では癌細胞と癌微小環境との相互作用へも視点を広げて、転移を形成する早期段階においての完全な阻害を目指し、また癌の転移を早期発見する新たな方法を模索する。
