Outline of Research at the Start	がんによる死亡の主な原因は遠隔臓器への転移であると考えられており、転移性がんに対する予防薬、治療薬の開発は急務である。がんが遠隔臓器へ転移する前段階において、遠隔臓器に形成される転移前微小環境に注目し、これまでに、大腸がん肝転移モデルマウスを用いた系から転移前肝微小環境形成因子を同定し、先行研究の中で進めてきた転移前肝臓における単一細胞解析により転移前肝微小環境形成の分子機序を明らかにする。
