Outline of Research at the Start

スキルス胃がんはいまだ原因不明で有効な治療法が存在しない代表的な難治がんである。本研究では、スキルス胃がんの疫学的リスク因子と考えられるピロリ菌感染や性ホルモン曝露が発がんに果たす役割に着目し、分子・細胞・個体レベルの解析を行うことで、スキルス胃がんの本質的な発がん原因の同定と発がん機構の解明を目指す。
