Outline of Research at the Start

抗体医薬であるニボルマブのような免疫チェックポイント阻害剤はがん治療において大きな成功をおさめた。その一方で，免疫関連有害事象や高額医療費の問題などが顕在化してきた。
このような臨床医学的な問題や社会的なニーズの観点から，本研究は，Affinity selection mass spectrometry（AS-MS）という手法を用い，十数万種を含む化合物ライブラリーの中からPD-1に強く結合することでPD-1/PD-L1相互作用を阻害する低分子化合物・薬物を見出すことを目的とする。
