Outline of Research at the Start

膵癌の発生・進展に重要なMitogen activated protein kinase (MAPキナーゼ)パスウェイは、膵癌の有望な治療標的と期待されている。しかし膵癌患者を対象にしたこれまでの臨床試験ではMAPK阻害剤の有効性は示されていない。私たちは、膵癌細胞株のMAPキナーゼ阻害剤抵抗性に関連する分子としてClusterin (CLU)を同定し報告した。本研究は、臨床応用への前段階として、ヒト膵癌組織から樹立した膵癌オルガノイドを用いて、MAPキナーゼおよびCLUを標的とした新規併用治療法の有効性を検証するものである。
