Outline of Research at the Start

神経変性疾患は脳プロテイノパシーであり、老化はその最大のリスクである。一方、老化に関与する循環因子が解明されるなか、脳老化や神経変性への関与については知見に乏しい。代表者らは、Alzheimer病モデルと野生型老若マウスとの並体結合を行い、脳Aβ蓄積を加齢依存的に促進ないし抑制する脳内分子の候補を同定済である。本課題では、これら候補の機能メカニズムを解析し、新たな治療や診断への有用性を評価する。
