Outline of Research at the Start	脈絡叢上皮細胞の3次元培養（既に稼働中）細胞を用いて、脈絡叢上皮細胞における具体的糖輸送機序を明らかにし、糖尿病増悪時における脈絡叢上皮細胞傷害の有無、具体的機序の解明を行う。糖尿病モデルマウスへの投与実験からは糖過剰負荷時における脈絡叢を含む脳傷害の具体的機序解明を行う。認知症脳と糖尿病脳を含む神経変性疾患の高齢者脳を用いた研究からは、脈絡叢組織とそれに近接する海馬神経細胞を同時に解析し、実際の認知症を含む神経変性疾患脳における組織傷害の具体的機序解明を行う。
