Outline of Research at the Start

認知症に伴う妄想、うつ、興奮などの行動・心理症状（BPSD）は、家族、社会への大きな負担となっている。しかし、BPSDの病態機序に基づいた根本的治療法は存在しない。
認知症の基礎病態機序として近年神経炎症が注目されているが、ヒト固有のBPSD臨床症状との関連は明らかではない。
本研究では、認知症の「BPSD―神経炎症」連関を、臨床検体・データの解析を通じて明らかにする。
