Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、糖尿病性腎症 (腎症) の進展に対する高比重リポ蛋白 (HDL) のコレステロール引き抜き能 (HDL-CEC) の影響を、前向き観察研究により明らかにすることを目的とする。対象は当科通院中の成人2型糖尿病患者300名程度とする。Exposureを観察開始時のHDL-CEC、主要アウトカムを推算糸球体濾過量の年間低下速度、観察期間は2から3年とする。また、観察開始6か月後にもHDL-CECを測定し、HDL-CECの変化に影響を及ぼす因子の探索も行う。本研究の成果が、HDL-CECを標的とした腎症の新たな治療につながることが期待される。
