Outline of Research at the Start

深部静脈血栓症（DVT）は、別名をエコノミークラス症候群とも言い、長時間のフライトのみならず、長期入院や自然災害等の避難所生活などでも多発することが知られている。このDVTはこれら環境要因だけでなく、遺伝的に発症しやすい人がいることも分かってきており、日本人の約50人に一人という高率で存在する。
本研究では、この遺伝子（プロテインC，S）の変異を迅速で安価に判別できる検査法を確立することで、事前にDVTを起こしやすい体質かどうかを総合的に判定できるシステムの構築を目指す。
