Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では細胞増殖試験によるフェノタイプスクリーニング法を用いて、22万種類の化合物ライブラリーからNTMの増殖を阻害する化合物を探索する。低濃度クラリスロマイシン存在下でのM. avium増殖阻害試験を併用することで、相互作用を明らかにする。さらに、候補化合物耐性M. avium株の全ゲノム配列解析を行うことで、標的分子を同定し、作用機序を解明する。肺NTM症に有効な殺菌的抗菌薬を開発することができれば、原疾患治療法の選択幅が拡大され、生命予後改善に広く貢献できる。日本における肺NTM症の新規治療指針の確立にも貢献することができると期待される。
