Outline of Research at the Start	アポリポタンパク質E（ApoE）は、ApoE2、ApoE3、ApoE4の3つの主要なアイソフォームがある。その中でApoE4は家族性および孤発性の遅発性アルツハイマー病の危険因子であり、ApoE4をヘテロないしホモで有すると発症が10-20年早いとされている。ApoEに関してはこれまで、ApoE4が Aβやタウの重合を促進するといった報告はあるものの、アイソフォームの違いがアルツハイマー病の発症機序にどのような影響を及ぼすのかについては不明な点が多い。本研究ではApoEのアイソフォームの違いによるAβ重合メカニズムの解析を試みる。
