Outline of Research at the Start

本研究においては、パーキンソン病症例の嗅球組織を用い、single cell RNA-sequence解析手法を用いてLewy病理（αシヌクレインの異常沈着）を有さないコントロール症例と比較することにより、細胞内の遺伝子発現を網羅的に調査し、αシヌクレインの異常蓄積に関連する候補因子の同定を行い、引き続きその因子が細胞内でαシヌクレインの動態や細胞死にどのように関わるかを解析する。最後に、脳の他領域においても嗅球と同様の変化があるかを解析する。これらによりパーキンソン病の新たな病態解明を目指す。
