Outline of Research at the Start

神経性やせ症（AN）は、極度の摂食制限によって、エネルギー代謝に異常が生じることが示唆されており、この変化がANの病態形成および症状の発現に寄与している可能性がある。また、脳内のエネルギー利用に大きな役割を果たす機構として、アストロサイト－ニューロン乳酸シャトル（ANLS）存在が知られているが、極度の摂食制限はこの機構の機能異常を誘発する可能性があり、この機能異常がANの病態形成および症状の発現に関与している可能性が示唆されるが、これらの関連性を検証した研究は未だない。そのため、本研究ではANLSに着目し、この機構の機能異常とANの病態形成あるいは症状発現との関連性を明らかにする。
