Outline of Research at the Start

精神病（妄想や幻覚を呈する状態）のメカニズムは未解明である。本研究では統合失調症とてんかん性精神病を、多モダリティのMRIと脳波による微小回路の興奮／抑制バランス（E/Iバランス）を用いて比較し、精神病のメカニズムに迫る。具体的にはA）精神病に共通の因子、およびてんかんと精神病の交互作用因子を解明する、Ｂ）脳波とMRIによる多階層での病態解明、およびＣ）各階層に共通する病態を明らかにする。そしてその成果を標的とした新規治療法の開発につなげる。
