Outline of Research at the Start

摂食障害は難治で死亡率が高いにもかかわらず、有効性が確立された薬物療法がない。本研究では、摂食障害において、ケトン体が依存性物質として機能し、病態形成やアドヒアランス低下・治療抵抗性・難治化に重要な役割を果たしているとの仮説のもと、細胞培養系およびモデル動物実験系を用いて、ケトン体の依存形成および摂食障害の病態形成への関与の有無とその分子・細胞基盤を明らかにする。これらのことを通じて、ケトン体作用の制御による摂食障害の薬物療法の開発につなげる。
