Outline of Research at the Start

重症遷延神経性やせ症(Severe Enduring Anorexia Nervosa: SEAN)は、長期間改善を認めず、遷延化している重症の神経性やせ症患者のことであり、SEANの治療は摂食障害診療の大きな課題の一つである。SEANは、初発患者と同様の治療アプローチでは改善が乏しいと考えられている。SEANの治療脱落率が高い原因の一つに、彼らの医療機関へのニーズが罹病期間の短い神経性やせ症患者とは異なることが指摘されているが、SEAN の実態についての調査はこれまでにない。これらの実態、治療脱落と予後、ニーズの調査を行うことにより、SEANに対するより有用な治療の開発を行う。
