Outline of Research at the Start

申請者は国内唯一・アジア最大の自殺者網羅的ゲノムデータを有する強みを活かし、「自殺リスクに強く関連するSP4遺伝子領域」「自殺者における常染色体・X染色体の体細胞モザイク異常増加」といった世界初の予備的知見を見出した。本申請では新たに自殺者網羅的ゲノムデータを追加取得し、アジア初の計2,000例超の日本人自殺者網羅的ゲノムデータ（及び理化学研究所の約20万例の非自殺対照者データ）を構築かつ最先端のゲノム解析を実施することで、「自殺リスク遺伝子及び生物学的機序の解明」「自殺における体細胞モザイク異常の詳細な同定」を目指す。
