Outline of Research at the Start	難病指定疾患プラダー・ウィリー症候群は、ゲノム刷り込み現象がヒトで初めて確認された疾患である。15番染色体q11-q13に責任遺伝子座を有するため、同部位に連鎖が報告されている自閉症との関連がつねに指摘されてきた。しかし、本症候群の希少性ゆえ、その自閉症様行動症状は十分には研究されてこなかった。さいわい、研究代表者の所属機関には、同症候群が230例も集積している。そこで、本研究は、PWSの自閉症様行動症状に関する調査を行い、その臨床的特徴（自閉症様症状出現頻度、同症状の種類、持続期間、残遺症状の重症度、投薬内容、薬剤反応性、男女差、遺伝子型における差異等）を明らかにすることを目的とする。
