Outline of Research at the Start	経皮的凍結療法とは専用の治療針先端にアイスボール(氷の玉)を作成しがん細胞を破壊するインターベンショナルラジオロジーと呼ばれる低侵襲治療の一種です。現在は腎がんに対する凍結療法が保険診療で行えますが、今後さまざまな腫瘍へ適応が拡大していく可能性があります。しかし、治療針の穿刺にどのような誘導画像が有用か、また治療後の効果判定にどのような画像診断法が有用かは確立しておらず、凍結療法普及の妨げとなっています。本研究では、CTパーフュージョン法やリアルタイムバーチャル超音波といった新しい画像診断技術を用いることで凍結療法の新しい誘導画像および効果判定画像診断法を確立することを目的としています。
