Outline of Research at the Start	近年、肝炎ウイルス感染を有さない新しいタイプの肝癌、非ウイルス性肝癌が増加しているが、従来のウイルス性肝癌の研究で我々が解明してきたイメージングバイオマーカーが非ウイルス性肝癌に対してそのまま適用できるかどうかに関しては未解明である。本研究では、近年増加しつつある非ウイルス性肝癌の多段階発癌過程や分子病理学的特徴を反映するイメージングバイオマーカーを解明し、従来の知見が病因の異なる新たなタイプの肝癌にも共通して適用可能か否かを明らかにする。今回の研究で世界的に増加している非ウイルス性肝癌のイメージングバイオマーカーの挙動を明らかにすれば、今後の肝癌の診断や治療に大きく貢献することが期待される。
