Outline of Research at the Start	メンケス病（MD）は、銅輸送蛋白ATP7A異常による遺伝性銅欠乏症である。腸管での銅輸送障害のため、全身で銅が欠乏し、重篤な中枢神経症状などを呈する。生後2か月までに銅の非経口投与を行うことが中枢神経症状の予防や軽減に有効だが、出生後早期には症状が非特異的であるため診断は困難である。本研究ではMDおよびコントロールの新生児期の乾燥ろ紙血を高深度プロテオーム解析によって解析し、MDの新規スクリーニング法開発や新規治療のための病態解明を目指す。
