Outline of Research at the Start	近年、細胞質に漏出した異所性のミトコンドリアDNA（mtDNA）が生体に様々な影響を及ぼすことが知られるようになった。しかし、mtDNA漏出に関する研究は限定的であり、小児疾患との関連も不明である。本研究では、mtDNA漏出を新たな切り口として、小児希少難病であるミトコンドリア病の未知の病態を解明する。そのために以下の研究を実施する。 1．培養細胞を用いたmtDNA漏出の解析 2．ミトコンドリア病モデルゼブラフィッシュを用いたmtDNA漏出の解析本研究により、ミトコンドリア病の新たな病態を解明し、新規治療戦略の創出へつなげる。
