Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、胆管損傷部・欠損部に生体吸収性胆管代替物（bioabsorbable bile duct substitute: BABDS）を利用し、胆管を狭窄なく再生させることにより、胆管損傷・欠損に対する新規内視鏡的治療法を開発することである。現在、胆管損傷部・胆管欠損部の治療は、胆管を直接修復する材料が無いため、外科的に、胆管―腸再建が行われている。しかし、胆管－腸再建の場合には、術後、逆行性胆管炎がおこり、長期経過では慢性炎症のため癌が高率に発生する。本研究では、本BABDSを用いて、内視鏡的に胆管損傷部・胆管欠損部を治療する手技の開発（器具の開発を含め）を行う。
