Outline of Research at the Start

近年、日本だけでなく欧米でも十二指腸癌の発見頻度が緩徐に増加してきており、稀な疾患ではなくなってきている (Goda K et al. Dig Endosc 2014, Lu Y et al. Cancer Epidemiology 2012）。十二指腸癌の発癌・進展は、食生活様式の変化、Helicobacter pylori（Hp）感染率の低下などが関与していることが予想されるものの、未だ明らかではなく、発癌リスク、進展様式、予防法の解明は重要な課題である。本応募課題では、十二指腸粘膜関連細菌叢による代謝物質を介した十二指腸癌発癌および進展に関与する遺伝子・分子異常についてマルチオミクス解析を用いて、十二指腸癌の病態解明及び予防につながる先制医療の戦略開拓を行う.
