Outline of Research at the Start

肝線維化に対する新規再生療法として間葉系幹細胞及びその細胞由来の細胞外小胞が注目されている。この治療の作用機序として、間葉系幹細胞から分泌される細胞外小胞が、肝内のマクロファージへ選択的に取り込まれることで極性変化を誘導することが分かっている。
本研究では、B型肝炎ウイルス由来のpreS1蛋白を細胞外小胞の表面蛋白へ発現させることで肝細胞への選択的取り込みが可能な間葉系幹細胞由来細胞外小胞の開発を目的とする。これにより、間葉系幹細胞由来細胞外小胞による肝再生治療のさらなる向上とともに、肝細胞へ選択的取り込み能を有するドラッグデリバリーシステムとしての新しい技術開発へ繋がると考え提案する。
