Outline of Research at the Start

慢性膵炎は膵臓の酵素が出なくなる病気で、そのことによりさまざまな腹部症状が出ます。最近、小腸細菌異常増殖症（SIBO）という小腸内の細菌が異常に増える病気が注目されていますが、私たちは慢性膵炎に関連したSIBOが存在すると考えています。
そこで今回の研究では、慢性膵炎の患者から実際に腸液を採って、細菌の数を測定して、その病気と特徴を明らかにすることを目的としており、またさまざまな実験を通して、この病気の診断法および有効な治療法の確立を目指します。
