Outline of Research at the Start

心不全は、様々な心疾患の終末像である。心臓に局在する血球と心臓のバランスが、心不全を形成するメカニズムとして注目されている。本研究では、NGFR遺伝子欠損マウスを用いた心不全モデルで、「心不全が悪化するかどうか」を検証する。さらに心不全症例での末梢血単球分画や心筋生検サンプルを、網羅的遺伝子発現解析技術を用いて解析し、NGFR陽性細胞の細胞特性を明らかにする。本研究により心臓とNGFR陽性細胞の連関による心不全発症に関するメカニズムを証明し、心不全の新たな治療法開発に資する基盤研究を行う。
