Outline of Research at the Start

心室細動は心臓突然死の原因となる致死性不整脈であるが、有効な治療法が確立されていない。心室細動の発生と維持には、障害された異常心筋と心室の刺激伝導系であるPurkinjeネットワークの関与が重要であることが近年報告されているが、これらを標的とするアブレーションや薬物治療は十分には確立されていない。本研究では、3次元マッピング手法を用いて異常心筋とPurkinjeネットワークに注目し、心室細動の発生機序に基づいたアブレーションや薬物治療が心室細動の抑制に有効であるという仮説を検証し、心室細動に対する新たな治療戦略を確立することを目的としている。
