Outline of Research at the Start	左室収縮能が保持された心不全(HFpEF)には有効な治療法がほとんどなく、新たな治療法確立のためにも詳細な機序の解明が必須である。既報から活性化した線維芽細胞で多く発現するhuman epididymis protein 4(HE4)がHFpEFの病態に重要な役割を果たすことが予想される。本研究では、まずHFpEF研究に必要なモデルマウスを確立した上で、このモデルマウスの心臓におけるHE4の発現変動を評価し、さらにHE4のノックアウトマウスにおけるHFpEFの重症度を野生型マウスと比較することで、HE4がHFpEFの病態に関与するか否かを評価する。
