Outline of Research at the Start

持続性心房細動患者群は発作性心房細動患者群と比較して持続性及び左房のリモデリング程度の幅が非常に大きいヘテロな患者群である。この患者群に対して画一的に肺静脈隔離に後壁隔離を追加したとしても一部有効な患者群がいてもその他の無効な患者群の存在によりその有効性が示せなくなっている可能性がある。現在までに持続性心房細動患者を左房リモデリング状態において更に細分化しそれぞれの患者群に対する後壁隔離の有効性について検討した研究は未だ無い。本研究は追加治療としての後壁隔離に根拠を与え得ること、効果の期待し得ない患者を選別することでの安全性の向上と医療経済への寄与することを目的として行われる。
